@uncoveredgems: Amber and pyrite from New Jersey?! 🤯🧡 These clay pits were loaded with roughly 90-million-year-old fossilized tree resin — better known as amber — in beautiful shades of yellow, orange, and deep red. Some of these specimens are seriously gorgeous. 🔥 Unfortunately, the spot in this video has since become a construction site and is now completely off-limits, which is a huge disappointment. But that doesn’t mean the hunt is over… it just means it’s time to find the next spot. 👀⛏️ It was incredible while it lasted, and I had an absolute blast collecting these specimens. #NewJerseyAmber #FossilHunting #UncoveredGems
