@visual.healthlab: L4-L5 & L5-S1 Nerve Compression: Habits That May Worsen Pain L4-L5 and L5-S1 nerve compression can be aggravated by poor lifting techniques, prolonged sitting, excess weight, and ignoring early symptoms. Your spine needs movement, but recovery after surgery also requires patience and proper rehabilitation. Have you had surgery? How has your recovery been? If you’re experiencing shooting pain or pain in your lower back, leg, or foot, have you had an MRI—or are you still ignoring it? #L4L5 #L5S1 #NerveCompression #LowerBackPain #Sciatica

I had this problem about 2 years ago I could barely walk. went to see a spine specialist they did an MRI and told me I needed an injection. my insurance didn't cover it. so I went to physical therapy and learned how to take better care of my back. I'm no longer in pain. as long as you do the work you can probably avoid invasive treatment.

Those MF SI JOINTS and L4/L5 are putting a real F damper on my joy. 😭 For years I thought I was the only one. I respect my lower back now and take care. I dont want the injections or surgeries. My regime is PT and Acupuncture.

I’ve tried it ALL…all started from a deficiency b12…(check all vitamin levels) I have L4L5 S1/ neuropathy. had to come down to a spinal cord stimulator and currently in lots and lots of IV pushes, R-Alpha Lipoic Acid, High dose methyl B12, Benfotiamine. (All these are vitamin supplements which we need to regenerate nerves) (mind you my results beeb back normal now) (please keep in mind it won’t happen overnight) been like this since October 2024.
My implanted stimulator, Lyrica, cymbalta, gabapentin, diclofenac and oxycodone. (All for pain control and function) I refuse to have back surgery😭
It’s all so overwhelming…chronic illness is NO JOKE! I changed my diet, converted to anti-inflammatory diet, Which helps reduce my inflammation so I don’t have flare ups and may help your body heal and regulate pain better. I’ve learned so much about myself. You’re young and your body heals faster. Every person is different. I do not speak this over anyone 🤍🤍🤍🤍 the mind is a powerful thing keep hydrated and believe in healing always 🙏🙏🙏

I had in 2013 back surgery because for a year I suffered in pain I tried physical therapy. I tried chiropractic treatment. I tried everything except for Cortizone shots to relieve the pain. I couldn't sit too long. I couldn't stand too long and I could only lean on one side of my body, which was the left side or the right I forgot which one now and I ended up having a slipping disc, L4 L5, and I also had a cyst in my spine L5 to S1, which was the size of a golf ball. The doctor said so I had to have a spine specialist. Doctor do the surgery and he took care of both situations at the same time. Got rid of the cyst and also gave me a new disc with my bone marrow and now I've got the bolts and the rod in there and it's been like I said since 2013 and I've put on extra weight almost 100 pounds which is not good but I had to have surgery. There was no other option to get out of pain.
