@abawithshanice: Big skills are often learned through small, manageable steps! ✨ In ABA, chaining is a teaching strategy used to break a multi-step skill into smaller steps and teach those steps in a specific sequence. There are three common approaches: Forward Chaining starts with the first step and builds forward, Backward Chaining starts with the last step and works backward, and Total-Task Chaining gives the learner opportunities to practice the entire sequence while receiving support as needed. Chaining can be used to teach everyday skills like brushing teeth, washing hands, getting dressed, completing classroom routines, and so much more. 💕 The goal is to gradually build confidence, independence, and success one step at a time! #AppliedBehaviorAnalysis #ABA #RBT #RBTStudy #RBTexamprep
