@winy1_1: Winter is a cardiologist—one of the best doctors in South Korea. Everyone knew her. She's cold and not interested in love. Winter's office was calm. Winter sat down in her doctor's gown; papers were piled up high. It's already 6 PM, and she's not done with the papers yet. "Uh... guess who's staying till morning again," Winter said, cracking her knuckles. She leaned back in her office chair while reading a patient's info. Then suddenly, three knocks came through. "Come in," Winter said in a cold voice. One nurse stepped in holding a folder. "Dr. Kim, uhmm... Dr. Aeri ordered me to deliver this fol—" "Just leave it there." "Ah, yes." Aeri called. "Winter." "I told you, Aeri, I'm not interested." "What? You haven't opened the folder yet." "Oh goddamn, I already know what's in that folder." In that folder, there was a list of phone numbers of other single female doctors in different hospitals. "Just give it a try, Winter, please?" "I'm not interested in love, Aeri." "Winte—" Winter hung up. "When will Aeri stop matching me with strangers?" The last time Aeri matched her with someone was complete hell for Winter. A blind date. One week ago, Aeri secretly set her up with another female doctor. On the phone: "Aeri, where are you?! You know I have work to do. I'm at the restaurant you said." "Dr. Yeri is inside. Go and meet her, Winter." "What?! Are you kidding me?" "Please, Winter... give it a try. She's kind and pretty too, just your type!" "Aer—" "Have fun, bye!" "Aeri, wai—" "Ugh, annoying!" Winter groaned. Back to the present. Winter stood up to get the other patient files from the reception area. When she got back, Aeri was inside. "Yah! You startled me!" "I said, where were you?" "Why are you asking like you're my girlfriend?!" "Dr. Yeri said you weren't here a while ago." "And so what?" "Winter, that woman was literally making a move on you." "I'm not interested, Aeriii." "Geez, okay, okay." "You're coming, right?" Aeri asked. "To where?" "You don't know? Aish, Winter Kim. Check your calendar." "Ah, your birthday..." "H-how could you forget...?" "Ah, eh, I'm sorry, okay? Fine. I'll come, but on one condition." "What?" "Please don't set me up with anyone." "Aish, fine. So, I'll see you tomorrow at 9 PM." "What, tomorrow already?!" "Yes, dummy," Aeri said while leaving. "I'm not dumb!" Winter protested. "Yes, you are..." Fast forward to Friday at 9 PM. At the bar. "Yoo, Winter Kim really came, wowww," Aeri said. "Shut up." Dr. Yeri came. Winter was eyeing Aeri. "Hi, Dr. Kim," Yeri said, sitting beside her. Winter only nodded. "You've been working a lot. I saw a lot of papers on your desk last night." "Ah, yes." Aeri looked at them, giggling. "I'll leave you both for a while; I'll get drinks." Aeri winked at Yeri. "Ah, so how's work so far?" Winter asked. "Hmm, very exhausting," Yeri said as she moved closer. After a few minutes of talking, Aeri arrived with drinks. "Dr Kim, look at that girl. I noticed her a while ago. She's been looking at you." Winter looked in the same direction. "She's looking at you possessively," Yeri said. "Oh, that's Karina, the famous actress," Aeri said. "Don't mind her." "Damn, can't blame her. You look hella fine tonight, Dr. Kim," Aeri said jokingly. "Stop." After an hour, Winter was already tipsy. "Yow, Winter, chill," Aeri said, stopping her from drinking more. "Yeri, can you drop Winter off at her condo?" "Yeah, sure." "Take care of her, Yeri." Aeri left them alone. "Winter?" "Mghm?" "I'll go to the restroom; stay here, okay?" "Hmm," Winter only hummed. "Okay..." "Why is she taking so long? Arghh," Winter groaned. After Yeri left, Winter stood up and walked alone to the parking lot. "Uh... which car..." "Miss? Are you okay?" Someone approached her. ------------------- #fyp #winrina #fypシ #au
