This is not a ‘McRib’ 😈🍖 *also pls appreciate how clean the bones are 🦴 I’ve never actually tried the original before so thought I’d just give this a go for a bit of fun RECIPE Ask your butcher for baby back pork ribs (but ask for the loin to be kept on as you want them meaty, you don’t want any bone to be showing) - thanks for the tip @artustbbq Set @traegergrills.uk to 105c (225f) on super smoke if you have it. Rub your ribs in frenches mustard and then seasoning (I chose @meatchurch honey hog for this one + @terryblacks_bbq pork dry rub from Texas) and put on grill. Adding 2 tins of apple juice underneath it and leave for 2 and a half hours meat side up. Feel free to also spray with apple juice too every hour or so Then crank up to 135c (275f) for another 2 hours. I did monitor this a bit. Then take off grill and place in tin foil (reflective side in) - add some knobs of butter, some honey and then more seasoning. Wrap and place back on grill to leave for another hour Then I put a bbq sauce* on about 3 times over the next hour and put the temp up to 145c until internal temp reached around 95c on @meatermade (I pulled at 97 tbh haha) Then take out, let it rest for about 20 mins - plate up your sandwich and enjoy ☺️ 🍖 *Sauce - sautéed 5 cloves of garlic, then about 3/4 a bottle of welches grape juice. Let it reduce a bit, added chilli flakes, salt, soy sauce and vinegar. Add some holy smoke all purpose bbq seasoning (tbh you can use whatever you fancy). Then once it’s reduced more added a touch of sweet baby rays and honey. Then add lemon juice toward the end #mcrib #ribs #ribsandwich #rib #bbq #meat #mcdonalds #mcribs
