@the.invisible.8: After 279 days at the shelter, Callie is still waiting. 💔 She was found starving outside, brought to the Town Shelter, and somehow fought her way back. Today, she’s healthy, absolutely gorgeous, and ready for the loving home she’s been waiting for. Instead, she spends up to 23 hours a day in a kennel. Callie needs to be your only pet and is good with teens. Please come meet this beautiful girl and give her the chance she deserves. Share Callie’s story and help make sure she doesn’t become invisible. Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter – Wantagh, Long Island, New York 📧 [email protected] 📞 (516) 785-5220 Shelter Bio: Meet Callie, a 4.5 year young Terrier mix who thinks personal space is just a suggestion! This sweet, silly girl lives for her people and is happiest when she’s soaking up pets, giving gentle kisses, or leaning her whole head into you for love. She walks beautifully on leash, knows “sit,” and while she may get a little bouncy when she’s excited, she responds well to gentle guidance. Callie has shown no guarding behaviors in the shelter, though her previous home reported some food guarding, so she’ll do best with structured mealtimes. She prefers people over other dogs and may thrive as your one-and-only or with a calm, compatible dog after proper introductions. She’d love a home with experienced teens who understand her boundaries. If you’re looking for a goofy cuddle bug who will adore you with her whole heart, Callie is your girl. #trendingvideo #trendingsong #PetsOfTikTok #dogsoftiktok #tiktokviral
