Just keep going. Many programs at uni got difficult courses the first term to sort out who is motivated or not.

It will get better. Just keep in mind that no one reached the point of knowing everything, everyone was in your shoes, felt lost, and even felt like they were stupid. It gets better! The beginning is either to get everyone on the same base level or to already weed out people who "aren't good enough" in larger cohorts. We always say to do the first year=2 semesters before deciding whether it's something you want to do because by then you'll notice how your thinking and understanding of the topic changes :) you can do it!
