I think when people have been selfless most of their lives, whilst catering to the needs of others, whilst getting bombarded with more and more adversity. Sometimes being a a little bit selfish and putting your rest and needs first, is also a selfless act, towards oneself. It’s only the world that is selfish, if you have something that they want and you give it to them, it’s still not enough. All people want to do, is to challenge you and each other, branch out, get social! If all people have ever done is betray you, what makes you believe that you won’t do such when the same desire is offered to, ask yourself honestly! Look in the mirror, and it’s not a matter of “If” it’s “When”. Do you believe that you will conduct yourself any differently? The answer my friend is no! Trust me! This is world is a low impulse! The old world anyway! 😁
