I agree with all except the outside 24/7 for certain cases some dogs are simply more comfy with an outdoors environment. Like livestock or high energy breeds? I just say if it’s outside treat it as if it’s still apart of your life dont make a lawn ornament!! Treat your dog as if they are an actively living being in your yard not just a garden tool. Also the moving situation. Some people genuinely need to adjust due to pregnancy or lifestyle change and if the only affordable housing is somewhere where the dog cannot go then simply find a new home. Abandoning no but rehoming yes. Sometimes life changes and becomes difficult doesn’t mean those people WANT to rehome their family pet a lot of the time too. A lot I’ve seen still keep up even tho they with a new family!!
