I feel like this is what nursing homes should be like... Let them do things they remember doing if it's safe and supervised. Let them help cook, take care of things or people if they're able to.

I looked after a lovely woman with Alzheimer's and she always asked if she could help me with something. she just wanted to feel useful again 😭 she would always help with folding laundry and cleaning her room and that would always make her feel better, then we would eat snacks and watch nature documentaries. I really miss her honestly
