This was my sister in-law and her grandchildren I cannot believe that the MODESTO POLICE DEPARTMENT has determined that this individual wasn’t speeding because he said he wasn’t he hit my nieces and nephew with force that they were thrown pretty far he was driving fast that by the time he was able to stop she was under the middle of the vehicle,they were in the crosswalk and if the sun was in his eyes like he said it was he should’ve been driving with more caution especially in a school zone these traffic cops are incompetent to he wasn’t speeding because he said he wasn’t ridiculous

This is crazy!! Come on, Modesto do better by these schools. We need more speed bumps and actually cross walks with those flashing lights. We need better drop off areas. PARENTS and DRIVERS STOP SPEEDING in areas near schools!! How hard is it to be safe??

I few years back, I witnessed a young girl get hit by a car, the driver told police the sun blocked his view, He was speeding and passed me up n hit her, I told the Modesto PD, what happened and they ignored me, not sure if lazy to take a report or racist, white driver and Cambodian girl 😳
