honestly I wish people would just not compare this to palworld cause the only similarities is catching creatures and that is. they provide completely different experiences and play nothing alike.

The idea behind this game i think is really cool, the collection part and aniimo designs are kinda cool. But it has a lot of problems, the story is boring asf, combat easy, challenges easy, aniimo too easy to catch, world building is literally the same as all the other asian gacha games, music is totally random, too optimized for mobile controls. It's a really good idea but developed in one of the worst ways possible

People comparing it 1 to 1 with palworld don’t understand that they are not the same game. Palworld is closer to Ark and Aniimo is closer to Legends ZA+Genshin IMO. I play both and like them both for different gameplay.

Taking the gacha game genre And fusing it with the creature catching genre was both innovative and genius. I love this game, the world is beautiful, twining is awesome, graphics are amazing, fighting is great (but very gotcha game styled) the only 2 things I genuinely hate is that the world feels a tad bit lifeless as far as npcs go granted they explained the reason for that in game lore but meh, and god SOOOO MANY F*UCKING MENUS. But other then that I’d genuinely give this game an 8-10 and i genuinely hate gotcha games so that’s saying something

games great, it does have a tons of menus more like a typical phone game. but beyond that it's actually really fun, looks great and the battling is super satisfying.
