you know the feeling when you poured all of your time and energy into someone, you wrote dozens of poems, painted so many pictures, and incorporated them into everything you do. all in hopes that they’ll choose you in the end. he didn’t choose me and I beat myself up for it. but the truth is that I’m enough for someone out there. it’s a shame that I wasted my love on someone who couldn’t love me the right way.
