@clearcreekadventureranch: WE ARE ABSOLUTELY BLESSED TO WELCOME LOUIE TO OUR FAMILY! This boy could not be any sweeter. Louie is a 3-year-old registered Paint Horse, and he comes from an incredible bloodline come to find out. His daddy is a five-time World Champion halter horse. Halter horses are bred to showcase their looks and presence Now it’s time for us to figure out exactly what’s going on with his eyes. We have all of Louie’s veterinary records, and tomorrow we’ll be making an appointment with our vet to start figuring out what options we have. What we know right now is that Louie is completely blind in one eye and has severe cataracts in the other. We were told that he will lose his vision completely in that eye as well. But before we accept that, we want to know everything. Is there anything that can be treated? Can anything be done to preserve the vision he still has? Could surgery be an option? We don’t know those answers yet, but we’re going to find out. Because we’re ready to fight for this boy. And I promise ya we will. No matter what he’s at his forever home.
