Originally adopted from ACCT Philly about a year ago, Echo Glenn returned on September 14th as a health surrender after she stopped eating. She has elevated liver enzymes, a tense abdomen, and a slight yellow tint to her skin. She has been started on supportive care, but will need continued monitoring and may require additional diagnostics and treatment if she does not improve. Echo has been a little hesitant in her kennel while settling back into the shelter, but she has been tolerant of gentle pets. Her owner and her original finder both reported that she does not do well with other cats. Due to her medical concerns, Echo Glenn is urgently seeking placement with a rescue partner. It was sideways and she was hesitant of me reaching around the front so I reached through the side portal to pet her. She was tolerant of pets on her head and back. Per owner surrender notes 9/14/26: Loves strangers and children. Aggressive towards cats. Don’t know how she is with dogs. Per staff 9/16/25: Vocal, a bit growly at time. Per finder 9/26/25: Friendly, Cuddly. Loves people, very affectionate- but aggressive to other cats. Scratched when trying to separate from other cats. MEDICAL NOTES: 9/16/26 Vet Exam: 12.94 pounds and in obese body condition. Slight icteric hue to integument. Tense on abdominal palpation. Physical exam otherwise within normal limits. Bloodwork showed elevated liver enzymes. She has been started on supportive care but if she does not improve, she may need more intervention than we can provide which may include changing medications, abdominal ultrasound, repeating bloodwork, etc. 9/26/25 Intake Exam: 7.3 pounds and in ideal body condition.
