Cherenkov radiation is the bluish glow you sometimes see in nuclear reactors or high-energy physics experiments. It happens when a charged particle (like an electron) moves through a medium—such as water, glass, or plastic—faster than light can travel in that medium. 🌀 WHY IT HAPPENS In a vacuum, nothing can move faster than the speed of light.
