I'm taking it to treat some nerve damage, caused by a virus to my vocal cord. It doesn't make me sleepy and I think it actually may be causing the opposite. There is a definite improvement in my vocal volume and I no longer feel the "air leak" in my throat that I noticed before taking gabapentin. Another month or so to go on the treatment so we'll see

I take Gabapentin for neuropathy. But I also have anxiety, and chronic lower back pain due to degenerative disc disease and spinal canal stenosis. Plus I also take 10 other prescription meds and 7 OTC vitamins & supplements due to deficiencies. Idk if I’m allowed to list all the meds I take in the comments, but one in particular is a benzodiazepine and one is an opioid, which can be a dangerous combination if not taken properly. I have so many different health problems and mental health disorders. I’m so sick and tired of being sick and tired.
