As a female photographer I hear SO many stories like this! NEVER go alone to a photoshoot just not ever! Whether you’re meeting a male or female photographer just never go alone. If the photographer has a problem with a chaperone is a huge red flag 🚩

Omg, I fell for this when I was probably 20! I was recruited to be a model for a hot tub seller. I was dumb & removed my top, but froze & refused to remove my bottoms. He got mad & made me leave when I refused to make a movie with a girl. My bf flipped out on me, when he found out. Now I realize what really happened, but back then, I was so embarrassed.

As a former HMUA, I worked with a lot of photographers. The two men I worked with were next level inappropriate. I loved working with the women photographers and their work was better tbf.

As a teenager I remember heaps of free lance men photographers wanting to do free photo shoots of me in bikinis and things to help her portfolio. I remember telling my mum (I was literally 16) and she was so concerned. A few other girls I knew were doing stuff like this and I was very close to jumping on the bandwagon. Luckily mumma bare was switched on.
