I figured it out! It started off as a “hoax” to brag about how powerful they are to get new investor funds. The sandbox wasn’t an appropriate sandbox or else it wouldn’t “escape.” Then it turned into this regulatory capture attempt that included Musk and democrats, saying that it’s rogue and needs to be controlled, but everyone is falling for a Musk evil genius plot to dominate and obliterate OpenAI. OpenAI and Anthropic are overvalued, they don’t want to show their books or their labs, and they need a bailout. Anthropic baited OpenAI in its marketing tactic, but since the Admin isn’t falling for it, Karp comes out and essentially pitches Trump in a genius way to “nationalize” Ai by buying 50% of the companies, something Trump will do in two seconds. Silicon Valley makes DC look like a functional family. As for Jensen, he’s all wrapped up in all of these companies with their circular deals, and now Musk is getting involved with chips and gets a chance to really dominate it all.
