@tomh.dr: Been eye opening for how much better a healthcare service can be ran. I don’t understand why the uk aren’t looking at this and making changes. It just feels better in every way possible. Idk maybe it’s just cause I’m still new but feels worlds apart. #doctor #medicine #australia #nhs #melbourne
Have you noticed a difference with relationships with the nurses ? Do you find they do more or less scope ?

This man is who One Nation doesn't take in to account. There are so many doctor's and nurse's from the UK and Ireland here.

Having worked in Sydney and the NHS, I’d say the hours are longer and put in extra time without claiming back hours in Australia but want to? I find people go home right on time in the NHS, which was very strange to experience having worked in Aus

Me wondering where you work in Melbourne after sitting in Emergency in Melbourne on Monday for 19 hours and I was actually taken in by paramedics 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I have private health insurance and was going to go to a private Emergency department but the paramedics said we need to get you to hospital now.

Our senior doctors always encourage you to look after those “under” you with the coffee thing. Make sure you look after your admin team or med students until you’re the senior then take care of your up and coming doctors.
