Truth it be told, I haven’t been actively buying bags lately because I’ve become far more discerning about quality and style. You won’t see me spending money on a bag simply because it’s been crowned the season’s “it bag.” I do my homework first, especially on the materials and craftsmanship -- 2 of the most important factors to me. Brand "hype" carries little weight for me today, so you won’t see me buying the "most wanted" or "impossible to get" bag just because top content creators or publications deemed it worth the purchase. It takes a lot to impress me now, which is probably good for my bank account too lol. I've known Me+Em @meandem as a classy, British apparel brand for a while, but was really impressed with some of their bags during a recent visit to their chic Notting Hill boutique. I zeroed in on this simple, elegant, yet outstanding piece. And yes, I ended up buying her 🤪😍 She is a hand-held bag, with no shoulder/cross body strap. Size is really perfect, fits everything you need from day to night. I loved carrying her today and thought I must share this "find" with you all ❤️🇬🇧 #bags #bag #MeandEm #london #leather
One bucket, tons of earth. The giant rope shovel bites into the pit wall and swings a mountain One bucket, tons of earth.
juicy, low-effort scallion chicken in under 30 mins 🍗 one of those recipes that tastes like you put in a lot more effort than you actually did. made this using the steam function on the Panasonic NN-CS89 Steam Combination Oven — love a multifunctional appliance that saves us from having too many appliances on the countertop. besides steaming, it can also microwave, bake and grill, so it pretty much covers most of our everyday cooking needs in one! steaming is especially good for this recipe because the chicken stays really tender & juicy + you get all that flavourful chicken broth at the bottom — definitely don’t throw that away because it goes straight into the scallion sauce 🤤 what you’ll need: • chicken — any parts you prefer, I used chicken drumsticks • ginger • spring onion • red dates • cooking oil • soy sauce • oyster sauce • chilli flakes • sesame oil • sugar / salt to taste 01 — steam the chicken place the chicken on a plate with sliced ginger, spring onion and a few red dates. steam for around 20 mins or until the chicken is fully cooked through. 02 — make the scallion sauce finely chop a generous amount of ginger + spring onion and place in a heatproof bowl. heat up a few tbsp of oil until hot and pour it directly over add soy sauce, oyster sauce, chilli flakes + a small drizzle of sesame oil. add a little sugar/salt if needed and adjust everything to taste. 03 — shred & mix once the chicken is done, remove and shred it. save all the chicken juices/broth left from steaming and mix that into your scallion sauce — this makes it extra flavourful! add the shredded chicken back in, toss everything together until well coated and serve over hot rice 🍚 super juicy, savoury & fragrant and honestly such an easy weekday meal to put together 🤍 save this for your next lazy dinner!
