@dinnanitv: 2004 Alumni Support Kperiga Presbyterian JHS Computer Laboratory Project The 2004 alumni batch of Kperiga Presbyterian Junior High School has supported the school’s Computer Laboratory Project with building materials and a cash donation to help create a conducive environment for ICT learning. The initiative follows a severe rainstorm that hit Walewale in May 2026, ripping off the roof of a classroom block and disrupting teaching and learning at the school. Following an appeal for support, various individuals and alumni groups mobilised resources to assist the school. The 2013 graduating class was among those who responded by raising resources to support the school. The 2004 alumni batch has now taken up the School Computer Laboratory Project, with its support focused on plastering, flooring and electrical wiring of a PTA-constructed building earmarked for use as a computer laboratory. As of September 16, 2026, the 2004 batch had donated one trip of sand, 40 bags of cement and GH¢2,100 in cash to commence work on the project. The alumni commended the Headteacher, School Management Team and the entire staff for their leadership, commitment and determination to ensure the effective use of resources to advance the project. The 2004 batch has also pledged to continue visiting the school to monitor the progress of work and encouraged other alumni groups to take up development projects to help give Kperiga Presbyterian Junior High School the facelift it deserves. The Headteacher, Mr Ernest Kwesi Klu, on behalf of the PTA and SMC executives, parents, staff and pupils, expressed profound gratitude to the 2004 alumni for their support towards the computing laboratory and staff common room projects.
