In my opinion, the best way to address Elsa’s character (if she absolutely has to have a sexual identity) is as a demisexual lesbian. I think Elsa is the type to form a queerplatonic relationship with someone. Queerplatonic relationships aren’t inherently romantic or sexual, but she should be allowed to have a partnership with someone who understands her and addresses any needs that relationship might fulfill. This leaves room for fandom interpretation without outright fulfilling the expectation that she should end up in a relationship. Elsa should be allowed to be herself, and this seems like the best way to respect her character and journey because, to me, Elsa is a queer character. I think it’s fine that she has romantic and sexual feelings, but she shouldn't be forced into it for a nonsensical reason. She gets emotional fulfillment through familial bonds, but this seems like the best middle-ground option that doesn't disrespect her story. I like Elsa as she is.

I love the idea of Elsa rediscovering herself but I also love the thought of her finally finding someone she doesn’t have to hide from or be afraid that she’s gonna hurt them her whole life she had to worry about hurting the people she loved and by giving her a partner that she doesn’t have to be afraid with would be such a huge character development for her🫶
