@katechallinorbodyart: A little something different today… come to work with me for a day as a scar cover tattoo artist ❤️ This lovely lady has been through an incredible amount, including bowel cancer, brain tumour surgery and breast cancer, leaving her with scarring that she wanted to soften and take the focus away from. We worked together on a floral and butterfly design that would flow with her body and work with the scar tissue rather than fighting against it. This is the part of my job that I absolutely love — getting to know the person behind the scars, working out what will work for their individual skin and creating something completely personal to them. And of course, I had to show you the healed result too. 🥰 I thought I’d share a little more of what an actual day working on scar cover tattoos looks like rather than just showing you the before and after.
