@livstylelifestyle: This is what club life can look like when you get behind your Cricket Widows ❤️ For us, 64 women came together for an afternoon of softball cricket. 27 of them had never played cricket before! That means 42% were playing their first ever game!! 😍 But it really wasn’t about whether you could play cricket.. It was an opportunity to have fun, try something new, meet new people and enjoy being part of a team 🫶🏼 Some had played before. Some had never picked up a bat. Some came with friends. Some ended up playing alongside people they’d never met.. And everyone just got stuck in 💪🏼 One of the things people watching from the sidelines kept saying was that every single person had a smile on their face. And I think that says it all 💛 And this was just us, at our club.. Across the country, clubs celebrated National Cricket Widow Day in their own way, bringing people together on and off the pitch, getting people through the gates and putting even more life into their cricket clubs 🏏 That, for me, is what cricket club life is all about!!.. ❤️ Who’s in for next year? 👀🏏 P.s.
