The Federal Government, through the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has suspended the State Commandant of the Civil Defence Corps in Niger State, while the Niger State Government has constituted an investigative committee headed by the Deputy Governor to thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. May Almighty Allah forgive those who lost their lives, grant them Aljannatul Firdaus, and give their families and loved ones the strength and patience to bear this great loss. May Allah prevent the recurrence of such a tragedy and continue to protect the people of Niger State. Ameen.
