My mother died when I was 7 years old. We are 3 girls, I’m the last born. My father NEVER remarried. It’s now 29 years since my mother died, we are all married with children, and we asked our dad why he chose to raise us alone, he said, he didn’t want to bring a stranger who will ruin our lives, he wanted peace with his children and he knew it would always be quarrels and fights over petty things. He didn’t want another woman to come ruin his children’s lives and his as well. And I believe had he remarried, our lives would’ve turned out very differently. God has kept my dad he just turned 70 this year. We love him with everything in us and we take good care of him.
