It was the same when my child was in kindergarten; he didn't really understand the concept of time yet. When leaving the house, I would point to the number three on the clock and tell him that we would see each other at three o'clock. If I was any later than that, he would start to get worried.

I love how younger parents have really learned from the wounds they try to heal from their childhood. I love how this generation is raised by parents who are expressive and know that even if they are your child, you also still need to earn their trust and show them respect.
