Lost Highway, The Track was conceived as a moment rather than an exhibition. Two nights only. A building at the edge of transformation. A final pause before change. Conceived and realized together with Objects With Narratives, the project unfolded inside the raw body of Aegidium. No neutral white space. No distance. Sculpture, sound, architecture, and movement were treated as one continuous gesture. The scenography was not a backdrop but a terrain to cross, to feel, to inhabit. The Track series takes the bulldozer tread as its starting point. A tool designed to move forward without hesitation. To flatten, carve, and mark the ground. It carries the memory of extraction, construction, and conquest. The physical trace of human will pressed into the earth. But once its task is done, the track is abandoned. Broken. Left behind. Its power exhausted. This work begins there. At the moment of silence after impact. The track is transformed from an instrument of force into a place to sit, to observe, to wait. A bench made from the very object that once erased landscapes. A lookout facing the consequences of movement. To sit on it is to confront what we build, what we destroy, and what remains. It is not a solution. It is a pause. A position. A moment of responsibility. The sound composition by eyeveyes guided the experience throughout the space. Mechanical groans, resonances of engines, and architectural vibrations moved through the building like a memory of work still trapped in the walls. The music did not illustrate the objects. It activated them. It gave weight to silence. Lost Highway, The Track was shared with a limited group of collectors, friends, and family. Not as a spectacle but as a shared experience. A final inhabitation of a place before it shifts into another life. - For more info, please contact us on info@objectswithnarratives.com - OBJECTS WITH NARRATIVES PLACE DU GRAND SABLON 40, 1000 BRUSSELS THURSDAY -SUNDAY 11H-19H
