Pengelola jalur pendakian Gunung Lawu wilayah Kabupaten Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah mulai menerapkan registrasi untuk para pendaki secara online. Kepala Bidang Operasional dan Pengembangan Perusahaan Umum Daerah (PUD) Aneka Usaha Karanganyar, Titin Riyadiningsih mengatakan, pengelola bekerja sama dengan pihak ketiga untuk penyediaan website registrasi online tersebut. Registrasi online diterapkan di jalur pendakian Gunung Lawu via Cemoro Kandang Kecamatan Tawangmangu dan via Candi Cetho Kecamatan Jenawi. "Berlaku akses per 10 September 2026 dan sudah bisa mulai booking untuk 1 Oktober 2026," katanya. Para pendaki yang akan reservasi dapat melakukan pendaftaran lewat: https://www.tiketgunung.com/. Kendati demikian, pihaknya tetap menyiapkan registrasi secara manual di basecamp selama tiga bulan ke depan sembari melihat perkembangan penggunaan registrasi secara online. Titin mengungkapkan, penerapan registrasi secara online tersebut dapat mempermudah sistem pendataan para pendaki. Lebih lanjut, pengecekan logistik dan lainnya tetap dilakukan di basecamp meskipun registrasi dilakukan secara online. Ke depannya adanya registrasi secara online diharapkan dapat membuat pengelolaan jalur pendakian lebih akuntabel dan transparan.
