This happened less than a month after my 6 year old daughter’s heart stopped and she collapsed at home. I did cpr on her. The paramedics did cpr on her.. but we couldn’t get her back. I prayed so hard for him when this happened. I was holding his mama in my heart. I’m thankful he’s okay. 🖤

My dad received 57 MINUTES of CPR & 11 heart shocks — he had a 1% chance of waking up , he’s a walking talking miracle - this was 10 years ago . I can’t thank the VOLUNTEER EMT DEPARTMENT FOR SAVING MY DAD .

I will never forget this. I also won’t forget how long I felt like it took them to call the game. Like someone pretty much died on the field, it should be an easy decision.

Damar didn’t just survive, he’s put in the work to get life saving education and equipment into schools all over WNY. The bills organisation have highlighted many stories of lives saved because of that education and equipment for young sports. He’s a success story in many, many ways.
