I was told that I needed to have a large tumor removed and tested for cancer. I had a long term ex-boyfriend that did not respond to my text explaining this and did not help me whatsoever. I was very young and should have saw this as a big flashing 🚩 red flag!!!

My ex-husband had a kidney transplant in 2016. I’ve been by his size since 2013 and all through his health issues. I started getting sick 2025, and he started treating me like shit and I asked for divorce in Feb 2026 this year

RN here. It’s true. If there is a terminal illness I immediately ask if the wife if she wants me to call any female friends, sisters etc.. I always give the pamphlets and statistics so they can protect themselves. With men it ALWAYS BOILS DOWN TO SHMEX!

I’m lucky that I’ve never had a serious illness but one time I woke up with crippling neck pain and couldn’t even move out of bed to go to the toilet and my husband got up, made himself some food and went to the gym for 2 hours and left me there unable to move 💀 nothing could stand in the way of him and the gym. I divorced him btw and am with an angel of a man now

Soon to be ex husband abandoned me 4 months postpartum. Said we were emotionally incompatible… mind you my hormones were out of wack, I was going through an identity change, I was pumping around the clock and healing from a c section. Of course I was emotional.

100% I was in a medically induced coma for Covid pneumonia. my ex h. cheated and cheated, and eventually tried to take me out for uncovering his secrets and got arrested.

Worked at ER one day a nurse there told me on day they received a woman unresponsive she was diagnosed with cancer once her husband knew he had a new women get engaged and his reason he told that sick woman cause you are going to die and I need a woman.she died that day even before starting any treatment ( I believe the emotional trauma was the reason not the disease) she had a heart attack all that was in only one month

i will never forget one female resident when i worked nursing home. she never ever got visitors but a man only showed up for the last couple hours of her life. he dipped on her when she fell ill and only came to say goodbye to relieve his conscience.

I was sick in bed with pneumonia and instead of him HANDLING THE HOUSE … he said OH IM GONNA TAKE A NAP TOO … I wasn’t fkg napping I was too sick to HANDLE THE HOUSE … mind you , I nevrrrr get sick - so that was a huge eye opener - we are now getting divorced cuz I HAD TO LEARN THE HARD WAY - while I was struggling mentally and said I need him to step up … he stepped out and cheated instead … ummm, wow - yep, don’t be US

my dad was basically useless when my mom had knee surgery last year. I was the one doing double everything and making sure she was ok. He couldn't even think to bring her a straw to drink while laying on the bed. He didn't even think to buy a toilet adapter so she didn't hurt while sitting there. My mom couldn't even ask him to give her the calciparin shot, I had to while having a phobia about needles/shots. At the end of those weeks I was so exhausted that I begged my mom not to die before him (they are kinda old). If you're marrying a man, keep your girl friends close period.
