After completing Class 10 in 2023, I didn't even wait for my examination results. Instead, I chose to work as a cook. The job was small, but the responsibilities on my shoulders were much heavier than my age. During the day, I smiled, laughed, and spent wonderful moments with the young monks. Their innocence brought peace to my heart, and time passed quickly. But every night, when everything became quiet, my heart felt empty. While my classmates were moving forward with their dreamssome choosing Science, some Arts, some Commerce, and others leaving the country for higher studies I lay awake wondering if I had already fallen behind in life. Night after night, I could not sleep. My mind was filled with endless questions, regret, and overthinking. Stress slowly became a part of my daily life. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't silence the voices inside my head. I realized that I was losing myself, so I made a bold decision. I deleted every social media application from my phone Facebook, Messenger, TikTok, and everything else. I thought it would give me peace, but instead, I was left alone with my thoughts. One day, while walking through the monks' hostel, I noticed a book titled Love Your Children in the Right Way. I don't remember the author's name, but I will never forget what that book did for me. It took me about two weeks to finish reading it. As I turned each page, something inside me slowly began to change. For the first time in a long while, I forgot my worries. I forgot the pressure, the comparisons, and the fear of being left behind. That single book became the light that guided me out of my darkest days. After finishing that book, I couldn't stop reading. One book led to another, and before I realized it, reading had become my daily habit. My collection of books continued to grow, but more importantly, my knowledge, confidence, and hope also grew. Books became my teachers when I had no classroom, my friends when I felt lonely, and my source of strength when life became difficult. They inspired me to begin writing my own stories, and slowly, reading and writing became a part of my identity. Today, it has been almost four years since I started this beautiful journey. Looking back, I realize that one book changed the direction of my life. Soon, I will proudly publish my first fiction novel, A Heart That Belongs to You. It is a dream born from the pages of the books that once healed my broken heart. As long as I live, I will continue reading, writing, and learning. To everyone reading this, I have only one message: never underestimate the power of a single book. It may not change your life in one day, but page by page, it can transform your heart, your mind, and your future. Be patient, stay passionate, and never stop learning.
