@200lbsdown: For most of my life, I took my body and my mobility for granted…until I couldn’t. I measured my body by everything it couldn’t do. Too big. Too slow. Too tired. Too uncomfortable. When I started losing weight, nutrition came first. Then I bought a treadmill and started walking. That walking eventually turned into running. And now I don’t run because I’m trying to lose weight. I run because I will never take my physical body for granted again. I know what it feels like to feel limited by your own body. I know what it feels like to avoid things because they’re too uncomfortable, too exhausting or physically out of reach. Now my body is able to do things I once never imagined. It can walk. It can run. It can carry me across a marathon finish line. So instead of asking, “What’s wrong with my body?” I started asking… “What else can she do?” And I’m still asking. 🥹🏃♀️ Day 21 of Nobody Told Me This About Losing 200 Pounds. #RunningJourney #MassiveWeightLoss #MarathonRunner #FitnessJourney #TransformationStory

Oh my gosh so true!! When I was at my highest I had to buy a chair for my shower…used it once! Really opened my eyes! So glad I made changes to never need it again! You’re amazing!
