If you want to get rid of build up on your hair, use a clarifying shampoo. Do not use dawn dish soap.

I mean I’m old enough to remember dawn being used for the Exxon oil spill to help get oil off the wildlife. Pretty sure that it can handle hair oil. Your good.

I did cosmetic chemistry for a few years the only difference between shampoo and dawn dish soap is dish soap is more concentrated. If you have super oily hair it’s fine. If you have dry hair you shouldn’t use it

Make sure to condition WELL. I don’t recommend doing that often since your hair is thin but once every few months isn’t bad for you. It does dry it out like crazy though

In highschool I weirdly started getting really greasy hair everyday. I used Neutrogena’s clarifying shampoo, which was expensive, but it worked! After one wash I could go back to washing my hair every 2-3 days

the simpler you are with a lot of care things the better. look at men and their 27 in one shampoo bottles with clear asf skin

If you impulsively decide to dye your hair with black hair dye and instantly regretted it, dawn dish soap will get the color out! Dawn dish soap literally saved me.

First wash it with Dawn second step wash with shampoo. If not it completely dries it out and feels like straw.
