18 months fighting Amazon. And apparently… I sued the wrong one. 🤯⚖️ For context, before DIY Her Way became what it is today, I used to sell wall panelling under the DIY Her Way brand. It was 193 units of that wall panelling that went missing from Amazon’s fulfilment centre — stock I’d paid thousands of pounds for. Their lawyers’ actual words: I “incorrectly brought proceedings against Amazon UK Services Ltd” and Amazon UK has “no legal relationship” with me. 🇬🇧 My stock was in a UK warehouse. 🇬🇧 My seller account is UK. 🇬🇧 My customers are UK. 🇬🇧 The carrier was UK-based. 🇬🇧 Payments handled by Amazon Payments UK Limited. But apparently… Luxembourg. 🇱🇺 I’ve just paid another £346 for my case to go ahead 💸 September 30th — I finally get my day in court ⚖️ Whether I actually get to argue it… we’ll see 👀 Small business owner vs Amazon. 18 months in.
