General Motors didn’t produce any civilian vehicles, Ford also stopped production of its civilian lines and went to full military production, dodge also stop main production on civilian vehicles. All three of the big manufacturers all went straight to old military production at the in the United States government to help ramp up vehicle output because all three of them understood assembly line, production, and assembly line speed production. Believe it or not 90% of American businesses during World War II did this at least all the larger production facilities today.
