The moment he threatened me I would of canceled the order and took it all back to Walmart. Then report it to spark, now he can leave a bad review for something that’s not your fault. Never deliver to rude customers because they will ruin your rating.

Elderly people tend to enjoy threatening going to court or saying “I’ll call my lawyer”. I guess it makes them feel empowered to say it. You handled it so much better than I would.

He needs to get Walmart plus and he can get extra assistance via Medicare. He’s not ordering the proper way. The in home service is a 24-72 hour in advance process i believe. I did a promotion helping sell this program.

Yes you are correct. It is against spark term of service contract for us to enter the home. Report in the app. Contact support. Add his name and address to your notes to never deliver again! Spark will probably remove him from all future deliveries for threatening you. Im sorry that happened to you.

That man has no clue about the ADA. The Americans With Disabilities Act was passed in 1990. There were no home delivery services like Spark back then. After hearing his threats to take you to court, I would have to decline any future service to this address.

Once you get to a dropoff, you do NOT have to call support to cancel! You can start a return right in the app and return the order back to the store. You CAN call support once you are safely out of the situation!

Put all the stuff back in your car. Wait until the delivery times out and mark as delivery unsafe. Don’t risk the bad rating. Or call support and have them make a return due to delivery being unsafe.

No way no how. That is a huge safety issue. They know better. His order would have went straight back to return without passing go. File a complaint against the customer and offer this video as evidence. You were way too brave doing what you were doing. I would never put my delivery person through something like that.

my sister had to deliver 6 cases of water up some stairs. The man who ordered them was downstairs playing on his phone. she didn't know it was him.
