Like the few times they have introduced characters who are blatantly rude/evil or dislike the traveller people have freaked out and hated them. Dottore is popular but he’s still got a hugeee army of haters, and don’t even get me started on the hate wave for scara in which his haters literally killed a cat because it “looked like him.”

I think some people kinda wish for a darker game, I mean the lore is dark in itself and I guess people desire some diversity in the relationship traveler has with other characters, I mean I think everyone kinda knows hoyo won’t ever add a “evil” or “bad” character in the lineup of playable characters but sometimes it’s fun to dream

exactly bro, look at what happened when scara became playable and he was rude to the traveler, chinese incels who play genshin literally started killing cats that looked like him and doxing employees and other ppl who they thought were scara fans like hoyo is NEVER doing ts again, and notice how they even toned down wanderers attitude after that
