My husband thinks longer trips are better so I have to constantly remind him we have pets. It’s not fair to them to be without us more than roughly a week. Plus I miss them and worry about them.

Yes! I was waiting for my kids to get older so I could do like a solid 10-14 days. Then my sister moved to Germany so I planned a 5 day trip and it was honestly great!

It's not the length of the vacation people are concerned with it's how much money you're spending on airfare, it's cheaper to stay two weeks and hit 2-3 locations than to stay 5 days in one location multiple times

A week is definitely enough for Europe. When the time change is 10+ hours is when you need 2 weeks
