I love the fact with Americans you can say to someone you’re going to do something risky but good and they’ll push you to do it but in the uk and Ireland I’m pretty sure it’s totally the opposite you’ll get advised not too or just bring u down absolute bollocks

I feel like this is definitely an outsider experience. It’s like when your parents are toxic or abusive, but your friends come over and say, “Your parents are so nice!” Of course that’s your experience. You’re a guest. You’re seeing them at their best, not what it’s like to actually live with them and endure the dysfunction every day.

I have been having this thought/opinion for a while now . I feel like everyone just dont like where they are . for example you like usa but those in usa would love uk . Everyone shit a place they live and glorify another because they dont live there.

i'm ngl these comments kind of have me choked up a bit. things here are far from great and we really are just trying to make it through each day the best we can. it's an unspoken thing we recognize in each other no matter what background we may come from. we've always, i believe, just tried to make things a little easier for each other by being kind and outgoing even if we're exhausted. life doesn't stop so neither do we.
