I already understood but because years ago, my ex husband who was a truck driver, back before we even got married, I’m talking in the 90’s, when he first started driving, he had a boss, that allowed me to go with him. The first thing He had to do before going to pick up a load, was fill the truck up, and back then I had sticker shock at how much it costs to fill, and that’s when the prices were good. I remember sitting in the truck, watching that number get higher and higher and staring at it in disbelief at the cost of running a truck.

This is real!! I was on the phone with my cousin the other night while he was driving and he got gas. He ended up paying rightful $800 worth of diesel and that’s what 100 gallons wow! They have been complaining and I don’t blame for striking.

a truck needs 300 gallons a week 8.35 a gallon that's 2,505 times that by 4 its over 10k an average trucker only gets paid 5k a month that's slavery at this point

they pass the cost of fuel to the end user. whatever they are hauling and for whomever is the consumer for whatever is on that truck, pays for the fuel. Always has been that way. it will be that way until we consumers can't pay. they have pushed all of us to this point.
