I love my budgies but I do wish we went with a private breeder. we at least did the right thing and purchased all 3 in the same cage so they would stay together, but the pet shop lied about alot. including how old they were and the fact that their wings were clipped. (we were very new and couldn't tell).

I bought my first from a private breeder he told me it was male it’s definitely a female but oh well

i have 2 pairs. and the private breeders of my cinnamon budgies and pied are more fun. they know what toys are they know what to do with n pice of nespaper or toys or veg. the pair from te pet shop they have no glue what to do if i put something new in the cage. even the veg.

Very few petshops in ireland sell birds they did up to about 8 years ago but now they don't the only petshop that sells bird food and other things for birds is maxi zoo.I buy anything i need from the breeder i bought my budgies from he sells most of the food and other stuff for various different breeds and sizes of birds
