Localized flooding affected city roads, including sections of the N3 near Tollgate Bridge and neighborhoods such as Clairwood, Merebank, and Wentworth. Heavy hail struck southern Durban for approximately 10–15 minutes, creating hazardous conditions along the N2. Wind gusts of up to 80–85 km/h were forecast in parts of the province. Gujarat & Karnataka | India - Heavy rainfall affected several regions, with particularly intense precipitation recorded in Gujarat's normally arid Kutch district. Anjar received 184 mm within 24 hours, while Mandvi recorded approximately 177 mm in eight hours, including around 127 mm in just two hours. Flooding affected residential areas and roads in Dholka, while other locations across Gujarat recorded totals exceeding 130 mm. In Karnataka, a severe evening thunderstorm struck Bengaluru, with Koramangala receiving 70 mm of rain. Dakar | Senegal - Heavy rainfall brought 52 mm of precipitation to Dakar, flooding several districts including Parcelles Assainies, Front de Terre, Centenaire, and areas near the Grand Mosque. Floodwaters disrupted traffic and completely submerged sections of the city's BRT lanes. In Yoff, the Philippe Maguilen Senghor Health Center sustained damage after a fire in a technical room disabled pumps, a generator, and an electrical panel. Bukavu | Democratic Republic of the Congo - Heavy rainfall caused flooding and a landslide across several neighborhoods of Bukavu. Homes were inundated and vehicles were displaced by powerful runoff after drainage systems overflowed in parts of Kadutu. On Industrial Street, a landslide trapped three people who were carrying out excavation work. Local residents intervened and successfully rescued them from the debris.
