And it is still loved and appreciated by many and it is absolutely delicious baked into this oatmeal cookie. 🍪 Oatmeal Raisin Cookies Ingredients: 2 cups brown sugar 1 cup butter (2 sticks) 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp baking powder 1/8 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda dissolved in 4 tbsp hot water 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups raisins 4 cups quick oats Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In the bowl of a mixer, cream the sugar and butter together. Add eggs and vanilla extract and beat till light and fluffy. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven for 14 minutes until lightly browned around the edges. Yield: 4 dozen cookies #cookie #oatmeal #raisin #Recipe
