Elope, or have a small group of family and friends. we did it small and big (because of Covid) and the small wedding ment so much more than the big party we spent over a lot of money on.

Do not take out a loan, you do not want to start off your new marriage with more debt!!! Maybe a courthouse wedding and a small reception is more ideal. Even renting out the social area at your apartment or neighborhood!

I had a cute little wedding in my best friends back yard. It turned out AMAZING!! Just close family and best friends. I’ve been married twice and the first one was huge! Definitely preferred the quaint charming little one - waaay more personal.

You don’t have to do your wedding right after you get engaged. I got married at the courthouse 3 years ago and I’m just now doing my wedding next weekend
