@leighinky4: Crater Lake is one of those places that you build up in your imagination and then you step on that rim and the reality of it is nothing short of magnificent. Did you know that it was formed 7, 700 years ago when the volcano Mt. Mazama erupted and collapsed into itself to form a deep caldera? Centuries of snow and rain have filled it to the depths of 1,943 feet, making it the deepest lake in America. The shade of blue is like nothing else I have seen. I am so happy I made this a stop in my Oregon adventures; it truly took my breath away. #craterlake #fyp #Oregon #nationalpark
