2019 Mazda CX-5 | 104,989 Miles | Purge Valve & Belts This car came in for a check engine light diagnosis with a P0171. I was able to feel the rough running condition within the first couple minutes of the test drive at a stop light while I had my scan tool data pulled up. The long term fuel trim was maxed out at 25% and the short term was reading +15-20% at idle. By the time I got back to the shop the fuel trims had returned to normal and I couldn’t get it to act up again. But later that day after letting the car sit I put a vacuum gauge on the purge valve and disconnected the electrical connector on a test drive. After a short drive, my vacuum garage was reading vacuum, confirming a leaking EVAP purge valve / solenoid. They also asked us to take care of the belts. Come help me. Please.
