I think my orthopedic dr is trying to convince me to get corticosteroid or hyauluronic acid injection. knee pain is only 1-3, cause is arthritis, mild ligament tears, tendonopothy, mild outer meniscus injury, bone edema. He didn’t say it would help with the bone edema so I said no. Physical therapy has helped a little, trying to avoid surgery. Can you suggest which type of specialist is best to see, or do I switch to different orthopedic dr? Thank you

So true u want to be out of pain. I just started pt after injections and now prp. It has already helped a little.
