look into the military. I know the government sucks right now but think about it. You keep working 40 years at whatever company you're at, once you turn 65, 70, probably 80 once our generation gets there, you'll be making MAYBE $2k a month off retirement. What are you gonna do at 80 years old making 2k a month? Absolutely nothing. The military, you work 20-30 years, get disability, then you can retire. You can make over 4k a month from disability alone at 100% add that to the real retirement benefits from the military and you'll be making 100k+ by literally just existing. and you won't be a dead bag of meat and bones(well unless you join the wrong branch but you know what I mean)
